A native of Baton Rouge Louisiana,Jones has been playing guitar for 59 of his 69 years.As a matter of fact, he started playing that stringed instrument before he could write his name. Eventually J.J. ended up performing with some famous artists such as Latimore, Finis Tasby and R&B Hall of Famer Lowell Fulson.
